we had an eventful weekend! today we made dinner for some friends and family...

i got to play in the snow the day after the storm... it was a beautiful sunny day.
this snow drift is bigger than i am!

the morning after the storm-- typical colorado weather!

we had a big snow storm yesterday-- two and a half feet in the mountains!

there were branches down like this one on our deck... we were without power for 27 hours! luckily we had a good wood burning stove to keep us warm, and coolers filled with snow for a refrigerator!

this is when we had 2 feet of snow, and it was still going strong!
