Anniversary

On June 17th we celebrated our 12 year anniversary!  Also, Father's Day!

Dance Recital

Shortly after we returned from our first summer trip back east, the girls had their dance recital.  Shilah had 2 performances (tap & ballet) and Serena had one (ballet).  They both did great!

Back to posting pictures from our first summer trip back east... here are pictures from Grandpa Ed's farm that we took at the beginning of June before we left.  We miss you, Edgar.

Shanti's dad died unexpectedly of heart failure.  So many people are shocked and deeply saddened by this great loss.  We traveled back to help plant a tree in his memory.  Edgar Pless loved being a dairy farmer, friend, and father.  He will live on forever in our hearts.

Here are pictures from our trip to Southwick's Zoo in Massachusetts!  It's a children's zoo focused on creating larger habitats for the animals.

These turtles live to be 150 years old and weigh between 300-500 pounds!

There were 2 Kookaburras at the zoo, and we got to hear them "laugh"!

The bird show was a lot of fun!

This area was really neat... a lot of room for various animals to roam.  This ostrich eventually went after the zebra.

The deer park was very cool!  We walked on a trail through a big enclosed area where fallow deer roamed free, and you could buy pellets to feed them.
