A walk in the neighborhood...

Shilah's First Day of Kindergarten!

Shilah did great, and she is so excited to be in elementary school! She will go full days on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and every other Friday.

Serena's first day of preschool!

Yesterday was Serena's first day of preschool! She will go 2 afternoons per week, and she has the same teachers that Shilah had last year. She did great!

First week of school year activities...

Today was Shilah's first day of dance class. She'll go Mondays for 1 hour (a tap/ballet combo class) and Tuesdays for 1/2 hour (a talent group class). This pose is all her doing! She will start kindergarten on Thursday.


Serena went to her preschool today for an open house to meet her teachers. Her first day is tomorrow!

Belleview Park

I recently took the girls to Belleview Park, which has a train ride, petting zoo, a creek to play in, and playgrounds. They had a great time!

Camping

We recently went camping at Kenosha Pass with Uncle Gabe, Aunt Andrea, Emory, & Lily. Here is a great shot of all the kids in a tent!

The Farm

From Portland we drove to Framingham, Mass to visit the farm that Grandpa Ed works on. It was great seeing both him and Nali Georgette!
We also got to see Aunt Anica and Uncle Aaron, who live outside of Boston.

We miss all of our friends & family from back East!

Portland

From Shutesbury we drove to Portland, Maine. We got to see my parents again over the weekend, along with 3 of my uncles and my cousin. What a fun time!
The ocean was a blast! We couldn't have asked for nicer weather, and the water was even warm enough to ride the waves!

Shutesbury

From Buffalo we drove to Shutesbury, Mass-- where Grandma Evie, Aunt Tamara, & Cheyenne live. What a great time!


There was lots of cousin hand-holding on our many walks:
