Autumn Splendor

Two weekends ago we went to Kenosha Pass to see the beautiful fall aspens. The blue sky and yellow leaves were just breathtaking!

Reading

Serena LOVES the movie Spirit, and the book as well. Of course it's about horses, and the movie is pretty good! Whenever we drive by a pasture with horses, Serena yells out, "SPIRIT!"

Our New Car!

Went out looking for a used Subaru, and ended up with a brand new Suzuki SX4. It's a great all-wheel drive that gets awesome gas mileage! A couple of weeks ago the Toyota didn't pass emissions (and never will), and the mechanic for our old Subaru told us we shouldn't put any more money into the car. So here we are!

Fall is here! We've been enjoying some wonderful cooler, sunny weather.

Shilah loves kindergarten and her dance classes! She has been riding the bus to/from school, and has a few friends she sits with.


And Serena is enjoying Pre-K and her animals... her latest favorite animal is the horsey.

I took the girls to the zoo yesterday-- what fun!

It was awesome seeing the lions get fed:

The best part was seeing the tiger exhibit, with 4 baby tigers (3 months old). They've only been on exhibit a few days! It was hard getting good pictures since they kept running around and playing with their mom :)
