Ballet Camp

A couple weeks ago, Shilah & Serena did a ballet camp together at our local dance studio. They had a great time! Right now they are finishing up swim lessons. We've had a busy schedule this summer!

Serena's last day of school

It was a chilly day, but we still had a nice hike & brunch.

Jazzercise for the Cure

At the beginning of the month I participated in a fundraiser for breast cancer research, with proceeds going to the Avon Foundation. I taught 2 Jazzercise classes with one of my friends & associates, whose aunt has been through treatment. We are trying to make it a yearly event!

Shilah's Dance Recital!

On Sunday Shilah had her spring dance recital. She was in her regular class section (yellow costume) for a Beauty & the Beast theme, and she was also in her talent group section (white costume) that performed a play with music by Beethoven. We're so proud of our little ballet princess!

Shanti's sister Claire came to visit this past week. She had just finished a 2 week geology excursion in the midwest. Claire will be attending grad school at Colorado School of Mines in Golden, just a half hour from our house!
