The cousins had a great time climbing around at Red Rocks a couple weeks ago!

A few weeks ago we took Shanti's sister Claire on a drive up Mount Evans, the highest paved road in North America! I like it even better than Pikes Peak.


I'm thinking some of these pictures may appear on this year's holiday cards!

Picture Day!

Shilah had her school picture day yesterday. She wanted her hair curled, and even though it was our crazy morning of the week, we got up early to do it! Shilah is really enjoying first grade, and has nightly reading homework online. She needs to do at least 10 minutes per night, and earns points for listening to a short story, reading it aloud herself, and/or taking a quiz. Growing up!

Deer Creek Hike

A few weeks ago we went on a hike in Bailey. Shilah is dressed in her Sunday best for the trek!

Tiny Town Fieldtrip

Serena is going to preschool one extra day, an enrichment class for kids going to kindergarten next year. Recently her class took a trip to Tiny Town. The best part: ice cream!

Belleview Park

Still catching up on summer photos! This place has a petting zoo, train ride, playgrounds, and a stream to play in. We try to go at least 1 time per summer.

Mountain Creeks

We spent a good amount of time playing in creeks this summer! Here are the girls at a stream in Evergreen, where they had a lot of fun catching minnows. Brought back a lot of fond memories for me!

Riding Bikes

The girls love to ride their bikes up in our cul-de-sac. Serena skipped the training wheel stage and now can ride a bike all on her own!

At the Zoo
